So...the first UFO I am going to be working on this year is #6 - Lori's Quilt.
I'm having heart palpitations about this quilt...its for a new friend who is paying me to make it - the first time I will ever have 'sold' something I have made...
Its in one of my favorite fabric lines...
And will be a wonky log cabin style....
So far I have ZERO blocks made...but cutting out has begun!

Erin, I am wishing you good luck with your quilt, but mostly I'm hoping that you totally enjoy working on it. With Bliss and a wonky log cabin, the person you are giving it do will LOVE it.

Good Luck! My #6 I haven't seen in 13 years, but I'm pretty sure I'm finished with all my cutting. I can't wait to see this quilt when you are through. I love the fabric line.

I too get nerves about a quilt that someone is paying for. You will do great.
Erin, I am wishing you good luck and great success. I too, am beginning a journey of people paying for quilts that I make. For me, it seems (seams :0) ) that all of a sudden I am new to quilt making and the basics go out the window! I know it is nerves, but it is hard to keep them in check.
Oh Erin - I'm so excited for you - and I know you'll do a great job! Love that fabric, too!
